Clay sculpting is an art in which artists create objects by shaping clay. Sculpting is one of the oldest art forms ever known to humankind, probably existing since the evolution of humankind. It is essential to have the final vision in mind even before you actually start the sculpting process. It is not possible to create a sculpture without an idea of how you want the final result to turn out to be. Sketches with imagined viewpoints and dimensions will come in handy while sculpting. - Dried clay
It is essential to ensure that the clay is not dried out before the start. It is ideal for rolling the amount of clay you’re working with your hand to form a cylinder and bend the cylinder. The clay should be workable if it bends smoothly; it is ideal for adding more water and moistening the clay if it breaks during this test. - Beware of protruding shapes
